The Dragon-Bond Marker: Basgiath Edition
Power is a fragile thing. Carry the weight of the bond within your pages with this tribute to the iron-willed and the fire-born.
The Tale
Inspired by the high-stakes world of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing, this bookmark captures the brutal philosophy of the Basgiath War College. Featuring the striking silhouettes of the black dragon Tairn and the golden Andarna, this piece serves as a reminder of the bond that defines a rider's life—and death. Between the crossed blades of the cadet and the flight of the dragons, the legendary quote is etched forever into the grain:
"A dragon without its rider is a tragedy. A rider without a dragon is dead."
The Craft
We’ve applied our "Old World" techniques to this modern epic to create a piece that feels like a found artifact from the college archives.
The Material: 1/16" Birch Plywood. Thin enough to preserve your spine, strong enough to survive a dragon’s trial.
The Details: Precision laser-etched silhouettes and weaponry, flanking the iconic quote in a sharp, legible script.
The Adornment: Each marker is finished with a silk-thread tassel. Choose between Imperial Burgundy (the color of blood and leather) or Antique Cream (the color of aged vellum).
Dimensions: A substantial 7" x 2" profile, providing a larger "canvas" for the quote and art.
For the Rider’s Quadrant
The Fan Gift: An essential accessory for any "Xaden vs. Dain" debate.
The Tactical Feel: The smell of laser-charred wood and the tactile grain make this feel far more authentic to the world of Basgiath than a standard paper bookmark.
